New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the organization has agreed to terms with goalkeeper Jonathan Quick on a one-year deal.

Quick, 37, has participated in 753 career games (740 starts) for the Los Angeles Kings and Vegas Golden Knights, compiling a 375-277-84 record, a lifetime 2.47 goals against average, and a.911 save percentage. Quick ranks second all-time in victories and fourth in games played among American-born goaltenders. Quick spent his 2022-23 season between the Kings and the Golden Knights, posting a 16-15-6 record in 41 games with two shutouts. He won his first four outings with Vegas and ended 5-2-2 with the Stanley Cup champions.

Blake Wheeler

New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the organization has come to terms on a one-year deal with forward Blake Wheeler.

Wheeler, 36, appeared in 72 games with the Winnipeg Jets in 2022-23, scoring 16 goals and assisting on 39 others for a total of 55 points. Wheeler also had seven power play goals, the second most in his career, and six game-winning goals, tying his career best. Wheeler was tied for fourth on the Jets in goals, third in assists, and fifth in points.

New York Rangers Free Agents are Ryan Carpenter, Jaroslav Halak, Patrick Kane, Niko Mikkola, Tyler Motte, C.J. Smith, Vladimir Tarasenko.
