Rangers finally won a game for the first time since February 4th against Washington. The Rangers played a complete game in Philadelphia. This game should have been over in regulation but another mindless penalty by the longest-tenured Blueshirt on a 5-3PP was another nail-biter.

What in the world was Chris Kreider thinking? How does he take a hooking penalty while the team had a 5-3 powerplay for a full 2 minutes?

Breadman returns to lineup and saves Rangers again.

In pure Rangers luck, Adam Fox kicked a puck that put New York down early. The immortal Colin Blackwell continues his goal-scoring streak.

Let this sink in, he has more goals and points than Zibanejad, Lafreniere, and Kakko.

Kakko did score a SO goal later on. Georgiev played well making 20 saves and stopping former Ranger- Kevin Hayes in SO.

Brendan Smith scored the games second goal on tap-in pass from the Breadman.

Where would this Rangers team be if Panarin was out for more than two weeks instead of two games?

Rangers were gifted a penalty shot late in the 2nd period and Pavel Buchnich missed. Only a few more months until he is shown the door in free agency.

Mika Zibanejad looks like he has no confidence and needs to be benched for a few games to clear his head. It looks like he has no confidence. There was no chance he was going to score during the OT PP. He continues to look slow and off-balance.

Overall good team win, Rangers won faceoffs margin of 55%-45%, dominated shots on goal, and finally scored a Power Play goal!

David Quinn gets credit for the win but he needs to ignite Kreider, Mika, Lafreniere and others.

Rangers will try to keep the winning streak 12:30 tomorrow at Washington.
